Where in the World is Motoko Tokyo is a decentralized puzzle game built on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how your data is handled.
What We Collect
When you sign up or log in with Discord, we collect your Discord username and email address. This information is used for authentication, leaderboard display, and community features. We also process your ICP principal (a unique blockchain identifier) and your in-game activity (such as riddle progress, leaderboard status, and transaction history).
How Your Data is Used
Your Discord information is used to verify your identity, personalize your experience, and enable community features. Your principal is used to track your progress, validate your answers, and display your achievements on the leaderboard. All game actions and ICP transactions are recorded on the blockchain for transparency and fairness. We do not sell or monetize your data.
Cookies & Analytics
This site may use cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party analytics for tracking gameplay.
Third-Party Services
We interact with the ICP ledger and external APIs (such as for ICP/USD price conversion) solely to facilitate gameplay and payments. We do not control or store data on these external services.
Your Rights
You may request deletion of your Discord-linked account and associated data by contacting us. Blockchain data (such as ICP transactions and leaderboard entries) is immutable and cannot be deleted.
